Join us aboard the beautiful Schooner Yacht HERON for the sail of a lifetime. HERON is a new 65' Schooner yacht built (2003) and operated by The Wooden Boat Company of Camden, Maine. She was designed by the famous yacht designer John G. Alden in 1929 and was one of his favorite design. HERON is a traditional wooden vessel built of the finest materials and to the highest quality yacht standards. She is a real work of art and a feast for the eyes. With a roomy cushioned cockpit and spacious decks, passengers can enjoy a relaxing sail in true comfort.

The Maine Lobster Lunch and Gourmet Sunset Sail will take you around the islands and shoreline of the Camden Rockport area. Beyond the breathtaking scenery of the Camden Hills and spruce clad islands you will enjoy seeing countless seals, porpoises and seabirds as we sail the bay with only the sound of the wind in our sails. The numerous lighthouses in the area make for great photo opportunities. Join us for an afternoon Maine Lighthouse/Wildlife Tour to get a close up view of all of this from the water. And the Camden, Rockport, Rockland area is home to the largest traditional "windjammer" schooner fleet in the world. Sail in company with these amazing vessels and you will feel as though you have slipped back in time. You may even become part of an impromptu yacht race!
